L.A.

so it's almost been 5 months in LA. i'm not sure whether i like it or hate it yet.hmmm...i just don't know.

moving to l.a.

so i've been away from this for a while now....not that i have been too busy...and it's not like i haven't had anything to say. i guess i just never got around to it.
so this move to l.a.--i just can't wait...i really want to get there, settle down a.s.a.p., and get right into it. i'm moving with shailendra and carlo and i really think we'll be a great support system for each other.
i'm excited and i'm looking forward to it.

i dream(t) of martha

so i had a wierd dream this morning...i guess it was wierd only because it was martha stewart...no no i wasn't making out with her or anything...

so there were a few of us in her house and we had just done an event together with her and she had invited us to stay the night and attend a party she was throwing at her place the next day...i was at the party the next day (or night, whatever) but only for a little while...i woke up...

so here are the few things that i vividly remember...she was very nice and hospitable (c'mon, it was a dream)...some of her pr people were real asses...and then at the party, there were a few celebrities(i can't remember who they were) who were even bigger asses...

well, there you have it...and i thought my life was getting dull...

p.s. so i think i really need to stop starting my sentences with "so"

drishti films

So naming this thing took up most of my time. i wanted to call it "drishti" but that was already taken. so i thought, okay, maybe we'll go with "drishti films." since the official website for that is not yet ready, i figured i'd get it started here. but then i started thinking...maybe it should be something different... only because i think i want this space to be an independent entity...somewhere i can talk about "drishti films," films in general, as well as a lot of other stuff.

so what the hell is this "drishti films" jazz i keep mumbling about??

so here's the story...shailendra and i are two boys from nepal...well, two aspiring filmmakers. and we figured putting "a shailendra karki & abhishek shrestha presentation" would just be too long for the credits...so we came up with something short and simple ..."drishti films"( nothing earth-shattering, as shailendra likes to put it..!!)

so keep your eyes open (ya sure, pun intended!)

p.s. i just realised that i started each paragraph with "so."...SO???
