happy dashain

dashain. time for get togethers, good food, a little gambling, and lots of drinking. i'm sure we all had fun in our own little ways.
but back home, some are voicing their concerns about the "slaughtering of animals to appease the gods."

what are your views?

slaughterings are very sad but its better then eating the animal alive. I am aginst it...there is enough blood shed in the world to "appease" the gods for years to come...n then some.
